Chijimi
(Tofu and Vegetables Pancake)
Ingredients
⅓ container Soft Aloha Tofu
¼ pound thinly sliced pork
3 ounces won bok kim chee
½ bunch garlic chives
1 egg, beaten
¼ cup flour
3 tablespoons potato starch
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Ingredients for Sauce
1 tablespoon ground sesame seeds
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
Cooking Directions
1. Cut pork into small pieces and chop won bok kim chee and garlic chives into 1-inch lengths.
2. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except for sesame oil, add tofu and mix well.
3. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat, pour tofu mix into the pan, and cook both sides with a lid on until golden brown.
4. Mix all the ingredients for sauce to serve with chijimi. Kochijan and vinegar soy sauce will also be good as dipping sauces.
