Tofu Chopped Steak

 

(Holiday Special Tofu Recipe)

 

Ingredients

½ container Firm Aloha Tofu

¾ lb thinly sliced ​​ beef

*Seasoning for beef

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons potato starch

2 tablespoons salad oil

2 tablespoons sake

4 green shiso

Ingredients for Sauce

4 tablespoons sushi vinegar

4 tablespoons soy sauce

*Mix together

Cooking Directions

1. Drain the tofu thoroughly, put it in a bowl, roughly mash it with your hands, and mix with mayonnaise and soy sauce.

2. Roughly cut the beef and dust with potato starch.

3. Mix the beef and tofu in a bowl, divide into 4 equal portions, coat your hands with salad oil, and shape into desired shape.

4. Heat salad oil in a frying pan and fry both sides over medium heat, then add sake, cover and steam over low heat.

5. Place on a plate, top with green shiso and grated daikon radish, and serve with side vegetables (ex. Lotus root, pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot, green beans, and other deep-fried or steamed vegetables) and sauce.
